Mission Statement

The Boulder Symphony is dedicated to enhancing the symphonic arts and culture for the benefit of the Colorado front range community.

The Symphony entertains, educates and nurtures music appreciation in youth, seniors, and other community members through collaborative live concerts of classical and modern symphonic performances that are affordable to all audience segments.

The Symphony also supports the creative development of artists by providing venues for musicians and composers to present new symphonic works.

Through live symphonic performances, chamber concerts, outreach and education the Boulder Symphony reaches thousands of music lovers throughout Boulder County and the greater Denver metro area each season.

Music
Possesses a certain flow.
Very similar to life.
A fluidity of many parts or components.
The Curves of many instruments.
The Motion of a conductor’s baton.
The patterning of sound waves.
Ripples of life.
And just like the hand-written notes on a staff:
Black & White.
Loved & Feared.
Dynamic & Lullaby.
