Mission Statement

The Boulder Symphony is a volunteer orchestra dedicated to enhancing the symphonic arts and culture for the benefit of the Colorado Front Range Community.

The Symphony educates and nurtures music appreciation in youth, seniors, and other community members through collaborative live performances of classical and modern symphonic performances that are affordable to all audience segments.

The Symphony also supports the creative development of artists and composers by providing venues for musicians and composers to present new symphonic compositions.

Very similar to life.
A fluidity of many parts or components.
The Curves of many instruments.
The Motion of a conductor’s baton.
The patterning of sound waves.
Ripples of life.
And just like the hand-written notes on a staff:
Black & White.
Loved & Feared.
Dynamic & Lullaby.
But always the promise of experience.
