BOULDER, Colo. Aug. 24, 2023 – Boulder Symphony & Music Academy announces a night of timeless elegance and rhythm, set against the backdrop of the Roaring 20s. Mark your calendars for September 8 at 6:00 pm, as we transport you to an era of opulence, music, and style at the dazzling Rembrandt Yard in downtown Boulder.

BS&MA’s upcoming annual fundraiser is 1920s themed, and costumes are encouraged! There will be a live jazz quartet, entertainment, and swing dancing classes. Black Belly is providing food, and there will be a mixologist serving era-appropriate cocktails sponsored by Boulder Spirits and Suerte Tequila, along with beer donated by Avery Brewing. The Ritz, a local costume shop, is providing a mannequin dressed in a Roaring 20s apparel as decor. Boulder Swing Dance has generously donated swing dance lessons. Most importantly, Rembrandt Yard has donated its stunning event space, making this fundraiser possible!

But this is not just a fun cocktail party—it is a celebration of an era that embraced both vivacity and artistic expression. This is a chance to make a meaningful impact on the future of music education. In line with BS&MA’s commitment to fostering musical talent, there will be a silent auction and paddle raise to raise funds for Boulder Symphony Music Academy. The goal is to raise $35,000, which will provide invaluable support to music students in need. Guests will have the opportunity to directly sponsor a student in need to take private music lessons at BSMA, empowering young musicians to explore their potential and pursue their passion.

The silent auction will include the following showstopping items: two incredible tickets on the fifty-yard line to the soldout CU–Nebraska football game on September 9, a suite at a Nuggets basketball game, one year of business accounting services from Sopris Consulting, a one-year family membership to the Museum of Boulder, and a boudoir photography session with Lilac & Fern, to name a few of the items up for auction!

If you would like to secure the tickets to the CU–Nebraska football game in advance, they will be available for purchase. The two tickets are in section 105, row 9. Inquiries may be sent to ExecutiveDirector@BoulderSymphony.org. This money will go toward our $35,000 fundraiser goal.

Every contribution, large or small, will make a significant impact on the future of the Boulder Symphony & Music Academy. So don your finest flapper dresses and three-piece suits, and join BS&MA for an enchanting evening filled with music, dance, cocktails, food, and philanthropy.

Tickets are limited, so purchase your tickets early here. Tickets are $60, which includes food and one drink.
