Hailey Jang began her musical studies at age five at SUZUKI Academy. She studied with Nam-Yun Kim, a student of Felix Galimir and Ivan Galamian in her teenage ages. After she graduated from university in Seoul, Korea, she continued her career as a section violinist in Euro-Asian Philharmonic Orchestra with Gum Nanse in Seoul.

Now, she continues her studies at the University of Colorado- Boulder with Professors Charles Wetherbee and Fritz Gearhart. Hailey is the recipient of the Takács Quartet Society Fellowship.

Throughout her career, she has performed in many orchestras, including Euro-Asian Philharmonic, Sung Nam Philharmonic, and Atlanta Symphony. Currently, she is a section violinist in the Boulder Symphony.

Hailey has also taught and coached many young musicians. She has taught at a music academy in Chicago, Colorado, and an art high school in Seoul. Her students have earned top places at Colorado MTNA in 2020 and 2022.
