Ingrid Anderson is the Principal Oboist with the Boulder Symphony. She earned a Bachelor of Music from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Master’s of Music degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has played as a soloist with the Boulder Symphony previously, performing Songs and Dances, a concerto for oboe and chamber orchestra by local Boulder composer Bill Douglas, J.S. Bach’s Concerto for Oboe, Violin, and Strings alongside Concertmaster Keynes Chen, and “Sky Psalms” Oboe Concerto by John Clay Allen.
Mrs. Anderson is a Boulder native and enjoys spending her free time in the mountains with her husband and two young children.
