Jason is a guitarist and singer-songwriter living in Boulder, where he’s been teaching music since 2018. His love for guitar began at age 13, eventually leading to the completion of a music degree at New Mexico Highlands University. He enjoys exploring ways to use the guitar in songwriting/composition, has self-produced two albums, and is signed to the indie label Winding Way Records.
Jason likes giving personalized guitar and ukulele lessons that play on students’ musical interests, goals, and strengths. He enjoys teaching a wide variety of musical styles, catering to students’ evolving interests. For students interested, he’s open to exploring different aspects of songwriting, coordinating playing and singing, as well as instrumental guitar/ukulele music. Jason finds fulfillment in seeing students recognize their unique talents and abilities.
