Rebecca Ward Helterbrand has been the General Manager of the Boulder Symphony & Music Academy since September 2022.
She attended the University of Texas at Austin for her undergraduate studies, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Business and Violin Performance from the Butler School of Music in addition to a Certificate of Business Foundations from the McCombs School of Business. While at the University of Texas, she was a section violinist in the UT Symphony Orchestra and Assistant Concertmaster of the UT University Orchestra.
Rebecca went on to attend Texas A&M University School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas for her juris doctor, graduating with a Concentration in Intellectual Property Law with an emphasis on copyrights and trademarks. While in law school, Rebecca was on the board of the A&M Law Review, a member of the Trademark Clinic, a brief writer for moot court, and a research assistant. Rebecca is now licensed to practice law in Colorado and Texas.
After graduating law school in 2018, Rebecca and her husband (and their dog Clyde) moved to Boulder. As a stereotypical Texas transplant, Rebecca enjoys climbing, hiking, skiing, and yoga. But, most importantly, she is passionate about sharing and growing access to classical music.
